well, it's definitely a step in the right direction as far as continuing 
development of myth! :) ... and i'm sure it won't hurt in making myth 
look more competitive with MCE to the normal person (since, of course, 
eye candy means it must be a better product, right? :P)

yah, only reason i've seen MCE in action is because my dell laptop came 
with it pre-installed ... i could've cared less about it (it was a 
refurb, so i didn't choose the package), but i'm glad it came w/ the MCE 
  remote (well, i don't actually use the remote, but the receiver works 
great!) ... as far as MCE's UI goes, think OS X meets Mythtv ... 
everything slides smoothly into place, active menu items pulsate, etc, 
etc, etc ... very obviously a "form precedes function" setup, since it's 
really not very powerful compared to myth

anyway, thanks again!  each release feels more and more polished!
