hi . mythTV is - great software - cudos !
could someone please describe a procedure to create my own recordings from
an existing recording? I would like to take an existing recording and cut
out of it several titles (some of them would be with a subtitle). e.g.
having previously dozens of tapes with shows recorded (several shows on each
tape) as one mythtv recoding for each tape, I want to disect each recodring
(one tape) into individual shows now. (The tapes no longer exist, the
pvr-350 hardware encoded mpeg2 recordings is the only thing left to work
with.)

I'm not afraid of SQL, Perl and even C++ if there was no other way
thanks a lot !

 on another note, what can I do to display year and rating with movie
descriptioin on every screen, not only on schedule screen? I only see
"%STARS% in all .xml theme files (no %AIRDATE%%STARS%), and no where in
mythtv-0.19_/**_/*.cpp do I see STARS=(:airdate, :stars) :-(  ... thanks
