Nick,
Thanks for the reply.  I tried using -O ThemePainter=qt, but it had no
effect.  (I already had it set to use QT anyway, so it didn't actually
do anything.)  My video driver doesn't support OpenGL, so I can't try
that.  I do have XvMC enabled for MPEG2 decoding.  Is there somewhere I
can tell it to use that for the GUI?  I am willing to try anything
anyone can suggest.
