import your channels directly rather than having to scan for them
within MythTV. If you do want MythTV to scan for all channels - you'll
need to do this to get the extra information required for EIT data to
work - you can import channels.conf, then delete the imported
channels, and then re-scan for channels within MythTV. This will use
the multiplex information obtained from the channels.conf import to
scan for any channels available on those multiplexes.
