I'm at a lass as to what to check out next. Other than compiling this new
svn version of MythTV (from -fixes), I have made no significant changes;
it's been working for a couple of weeks now, too, so I'm not sure why this
is an issue all of a sudden. Considering that this is breaking mythtv
utterly, any help would be awesome. Thanks!
Jack.

Hi, all. I came back last night to find that my machine had crashed- frozen=
up. I'm not sure what the cause was, sadly, but upon restarting, I fou=
nd that MythTV was having some issues. First off-- perhaps unrelated-- I fo=
und that my hardware clock was reset to Dec 31 2003. After rectifying that,=
I found that my backend wasn't starting properly. It seems to *think* =
it is, but then I find that it's not listening on the port it should be=
listening on.
