[mythtv-users] xrandr default playback resolution

Is there any way to set a default playback resolution?

>From my interpretation of the GUI, I can set overrides based on the
resolution of the recordings, but for recordings that don't match one of
the overrides, it uses the same resolution as the GUI.  Shouldn't I be
able to specify a default different from the GUI instead of adding
overrides for all possible recording resolutions (not that the GUI will
even let me add that many)?
