I'm using XFS and it works well for me.  In a previous job I used it on
a file server that saw lots of create/delete activity and I never had a
problem with it.  It seems to be a very mature, stable FS.  Just about
anything is faster than ext3 at deleting large files and retrieving
metadata.  (The latter isn't so important for MythTV, but it's vital for
file servers.  Windows boxes do directory listings almost constantly.)
