[mythtv-users] Any ideas on why this system would be unable to handle HD playback?

First off, XvMC won't do anything for XviD.

Why the audio would change is beyond me, all I can think is the files
are damaged. What does your CPU do during the stutters? It would seem
to me that it could just be high cpu usage, the XP 2600 not being as
fast as an Athlon64 3000 which seems to be the minimum for HD playback
without XvMC.
