Oh, don't worry - these are strictly test recordings.
But, it didn't work. I can seek without the playback halting, but video
is distorted (even for long periods of playback when a keyframe should
have been encountered - you can tell when a keyframe is encoutered as
the picture goes to full quality, but then it drifts into distortion).
Also - audio sync isn't right.
I'm going to try to force a keyframe every 15 frames max and see if that
helps.
Given that I'm the one re-encoding the video I may be able to coax the
video into a format that mythcommflag can handle. Any suggestions in
this regard?
