My next step is to get alsa support enabled.

I am running Debian Etch, kernel 2.6.18, trying to build Myth 0.20 with 
alsa support.  alsa-base is installed, and the debian pacakges lookup 
doesn't return any results for alsa*dev. Apparently I am missing some 
sort of -dev package, as ./configure --enable-audio-alsa still returns

ALSA support no

after ./configure.

Anyone know what I need to do to get ALSA support working on a debian 
etch system?
