Check out this thread.  It should give you some pointers on what to
looks for/at.  Your setup almost sounds like mine:  Asus A7N8X-E
Deluxe,  Athlon XP 2500, 1G ram, and a FX5500 AGP video card and I can
display 1080i without any hiccups at all.
