You seem to have your IEC958 turned down to 0 in the mixer control:

> Capabilities: volume volume-joined
> Playback channels: Mono
> Capture channels: Mono
> Limits: 0 - 3
> Mono: 0 [0%]
I have mine (NF3) as:
Simple mixer control 'IEC958 Playback AC97-SPSA',0
Capabilities: volume volume-joined
Playback channels: Mono
Capture channels: Mono
Limits: 0 - 3
Mono: 3 [100%]
I need it adjusted to maximum (3) in order to get any audio via SPDIF.
Make this adjustment and see if it works.
