[mythtv-users] Mostly OT: Blue bars in mplayer.

I used to have the same problem for one of my graphics cards. The reason
back then was some erroneous driver which miss-calculated some memory
offsets. Since all hardware seamed different no one managed to do a
complete fix and the solution became an addition of a offset parameter
in the X11 config file. This fixup was specific for the VIA Epia Tridend
graphics-driver and as I remember it the parameters has no effect for
other cards.

A natural conclusion from this is that there were no other means of
moving the overlay at that time. Otherwise no one would have implemented
it specifically for this driver. Is far as i can tell from Nvidia's
documentation there are no options for this at the time.

A good thing is that the error was only there for the RGB overlay and
not for the YUV. It might be possible to do something there if you are
lucky.
