Thank you for that link.  Page seven is exactly what I've been looking
for to show to people to help them understand how to look at a slot
and tell what kind of slot it is as well as how to look at a card and
(theoretically) tell what kind of card it is.

The problem with theory and practice is that in theory, there's no
difference between theory and practice...but in practice, there always
is.
