Murr.... I don't think so. You might have to manually specify a job  
to run on recordings. Though I think it MIGHT be possible to set up  
Myth to automatically transcode anything recorded from a specific  
source (not sure how this works)

Shouldn't be. H.264 may be within the realm of possibility, but I'm  
not 100% on this.

I don't see why not. There ought to be a transcode option for  
passthrough, otherwise you might have to do a manual user job.
