Create a source with the channels in set 1 and 3 then another
source with the channels of 2 and 3.

It shouldn't. It should only record once from the 'best'
available input. If you are mixing xmltv and EIT, it might
be possible that the descriptive information doesn't match
so it may record what appears to be two different episode
descriptions. But I hope this isn't the case.

In 0.20 or earlier, you may be misled by the program lists
showing the episode highlighted on both channels to let you
know that the episode on this station will be recorded but
it will only record once. This has changed in current svn.

If the "callsign" are the same, the scheduler will know that
the station is the same and that either channel can be used
for recording shows from that station (even if the channel
number is different). If the channel number and callsign are
the same, there will only be one row shown for this station
on the EPG. If either the channels are different for the same
callsign, or different callsigns for the same channel, both
are shown.
