[mythtv-users] mythgame - romdb importing but games not recognized

All of my games are showing as unknown(genre) and 19xx(year).  I'm using
mythtv 0.20.

I followed the instructions to import the latest romdb (at

the data seems to have imported successfully (I checked the romdb table with
phpMyAdmin, and appears to be populated, with CRCs etc).

However, when I empty the rom metadata and then re-scan for games, the
mythfrontend reports (in the log): "No romDB read from database. No
imported?"  What am I missing?
