The number of visible lines in NTSC TV is 480.  The number of horizontal
pixels isn't defined (because it's an analog system), but is somewhere
in the range of 640.  So, above 640x480 you're unlikely to see any
improvement, and you may find the picture acceptable at lower
resolutions.  I think the default is 480x480.
