This thread and this list are dedicated to MythTV, not any movements.

The point isn't that a person is coming up with a suggestion, but
rather a person is demanding an answer to a problem that few users and
no developers see.

Further, that person is refusing to understand the nature of the
problem they're describing, refusing to see the reasons for Myth
working the way it does, ignoring the basic usage patterns that have
grown up around the PVR, and insisting that all the blame for his
percieved problem lies with Myth, when there are likely steps he could
take outside of Myth to improve his Live TV performance.

Rather than trying to grasp what is involved, studying the
documentation and code, and coming up with an idea that could be
implemented, this person has instead chosen to react with hostility
and disrespect.

MythTV is not Tivo and makes no claim to be. Others may compare Myth
with Tivo, but that is their business. In fact, it is much, much more
than Tivo, but it does work differently.

Good luck, I hope it works out for you.
