[mythtv-users] avi Import

I was wondering if there was a simple article about how to import AVIs? 

 

My ideal situation would be to create a samba share such that I can load
AVIs from a windows box onto the Myth box and then watch using Myth. 

 

The AVIs, or at least most of them are in DIVX or Xvid format if it makes a
difference. 

 

Also note that I am new to linux so more detail is better, for example full
path names for configuration files. I am running 0.20 and FC6 if it makes a
difference.
