While I suppose it could be possible, nothing does that.  And while
there are a few rare 1080i display devices on the market, CRT-based
front and rear projectors, and HD CRT TV's (I have one of these, a 26"
16/9 1080i tube-tv), such things really are rather rare.  90% of HD
capable displays nowadays are LCD, DLP, or LCOS, all of which are
inherently progressive.
