[mythtv-users] PVR-350 Xdriver

Hi,

I'm trying to get the x-driver to work with the PVR-350 on an Ubuntu Edgy
system. I downloaded the x driver and edited my xorg.conf as instructed, but
when I run "X -screen TV" to test it, I get errors such as

ivtvdev: no matching device section for instance (BusID PCI:3:3:0) found
open /dev/fb0: no such device

I thought this second message was odd, /dev/fb0 is a character device according
to ls.

Maybe my problem is that the ivtv_fb module isn't loaded? When I run "modprobe
ivtv_fb" from the console, it prints out a bunch of text in an indented pattern
and crashes my system. If I run it from an xterm, it seems to work until I kill
the x-server, at which point the machine freezes. Has anyone run into something
like this before?

Thanks,
    Jared
