[mythtv-users] OT: Why 1080p?

I'm faced with this decision and am leading towards a
1080p set.  I've already decided that I want an LCD
display so my options are primarily 1080p sets
(1920x1080), or 1080i sets (1366x768).  I'm leaning
towards the 1080p for the following reasons:

Pro 1080p:
1) The horizontal resolution is 40% higher so it will
display 1080i60 with full horizontal resolution. 

2) The vertical resolution about 40% higher so it will
display static 1080i60 content at full vertical
resolution.

3) Film content that's been telecined will be
displayed at full resolution (1920x1080).

4) 1920x1080 is a better match for my NVidia 6150.
