[mythtv-users] Live TV = 7 second black screen, writeStringList: Error, invalid string list.

For no reason I can seem to figure out, live tv won't work anymore.
I'm getting this error when running mythfrontend -v all. the
writeStringList and readStringList error. It seems like mythbackend is
just broken, as the front end is also getting occasional popups that
the backend is missing. I haven't changed anything recently, it just
decided to die on me. The last change I make to the system was
IP/hostname changes about 3 weeks ago, but everything worked fine for
a couple weeks! I've run mythfilldatabase thinking that was the
culprit, that didn't seem to have any affect...

I've googled and search gossamer, as well as my gmail archive and
haven't found anything conclusive. Any ideas would be greatly
appreciated!
