well, if you were lucky enough to register edwards.name then congrats.
 The answer to your question though is "yes".  As a Yahoo! employee I
am a firm believer that most common nonprofessional needs on the
Internet should be attainable for free.  Sadly DynDNS has a great free
Dynamic DNS service, but their DNS zone management (which I would
think is much less complicated) is $24.95/yr.  So for a free solution
I recommend http://www.zoneedit.com

If anyone needs help doing this kind of stuff (including router
configuration), feel free to contact me.  I'd love to give back to the
community however I can, but Linux/MythTV is not yet my area of
expertise.
