You mean setting up authentication and maybe configuring it to only run
over ssl?

basic authentication setup is covered in the .htaccess file itself (the
updated one for .19-fixes has some command rename stuff because apache
renamed some stuff).

I can probably help walk you through ssl setup if you pop into irc.
