That's odd, it sounds like you're trying to read the manual (man) page 
for it instead of actually launching the program.
Are you trying to run the command in a normal shell/terminal window?
It doesn't go to one specfic 'page', more like it contacts the various 
repositories - which you should already have configured if I remember 
rightly from Wilson's (which is excellent..!) Myth guide, and then pulls 
the various package updates from those repo's.
