[mythtv-users] MythTV doesn't record

I had MythTv for about a year now. The last time I (succesfully) tried 
to record a show was some time in December. Since then I upgraded OS 
from FC4 to FC5, as well as generally kept up to date. Currently I have 
mythtv-suite-0.19-57.at.

LiveTV works fine, but when I try to record, it "pretends" that it's 
recording, however, no files get generated. All UI (both in mythfrontend 
and in mythweb) show that recording is going on; and I can't find any 
errors.

However, there is no recording going on. The only indication of a 
problem is when I am going to play the recording - myth complains that 
there is no file on the disk (there *is* an entry on the screen).

What can cause that? what other troubleshooting I can undertake?
