Sorry to top post, but it looks like the point was moot. The XBox  
disk image *did* have the right version of Myth installed, I just  
made a n00b mistake (like enabling networking in MySQL on the backend).

Well, doing that wouldn't have helped too much, if the problem was  
that the XBox Myth app was mismatched, as the system had the latest  
Myth debs already installed.

It's actually like a Pentium 3 Mobile, or a Celeron. It's some kind  
of hacked up combination of those two.
