I've got a sort of multi-pronged question/problem.
First, I'm attempting to compile 0.19-fixes on my XBox. I'm a little
embarrassed, but I've never compiled MythTV before. I'm using the
Xebian/MythTV torrent from The Pirate Bay, with 0.19 pre-installed on
it. Since my back-end is 0.19-fixes, I couldn't use the included
software. Without a Debian 0.19-fixes package, or any other disk
image to work with, I decided to compile from SVN (0.19-fixes
release) on my XBox. However, I'm receiving an error when I try to
make it. Here is the error:
# make
cd libs && make -f Makefile
make[1]: Entering directory `/root/mythtv/libs'
cd libavutil && make -f Makefile
make[2]: Entering directory `/root/mythtv/libs/libavutil'
make[2]: Nothing to be done for `first'.

Second, I'm wondering if there is some way to take advantage of the
XBox's GPU. I'm not expecting to be able to do High Def, but maybe
reassign its role, and make use of it as a general purpose CPU, for
commercial flagging, or something. Or anything, actually. I'm just
wondering if there is something that can be done with it.
Thanks.
