[mythtv-users] dvb livetv - slow channel change, input ignored (0.19 release fixes)

First off let me say scheduling/watching recordings works fine and
fairly quickly. However, when I attempt to watch live tv, or change
channels within that live tv, it the channel change time is upwards of
10-15 seconds while my box seems to churn away at the hdd i/o.

Sometimes after a channel change myth stops responding to input and
has to be terminated with an external kill signal. The frontend also
does not seem to respond to telnet commands.

I am currently using 0.19-fixes (the problem is also present in 0.19).

After checking the frontend logs, nothing seems out of the ordinary.

Just wondering if anybody has experienced this problem and if there's
a solution/workaround?
