do you mean the logo (and ads, now) that the station superimposes into
the stream? Why?
I guess there could be an algorithm that could interpolate the area
around the logo to create a fake area inside the logo. It wouldn't be
what used to be. Some of the logos are semi-transparent so there is some
data there, too.
 The logos are also off the main area of action so it probably wouldn't
be much of a problem if the end result was a black box (!)
Finding the logo would be difficult, though. I don't think logos are
located in the same place from station to station. But, most of them are
static for the most part, so that makes them easier to find.

My answer: I have no idea :-)
