[mythtv-users] A/V stutter when playing back 480x480

I'm running 0.18.1 from nerim.net on Debian Sarge.  My Low Quality profile
for the PVR-350 was set to 480x480 at 2400Kbps, and seemed to record fine
but gave A/V stutter (in sync, at least) when played back on an FX5200 (no
XvMC).

I've since set the Low Quality resolution to 720x480 at the same bitrate,
and recordings play back fine.  I have no idea why a smaller recording would
be harder for mythtv to deal with, unless there are scaling issues severe
enough to hamper performance on a P4 2.4C, which I very much doubt.  My X
server is using 800x600 for TV out.

Any takers? :)
