Here's my Mythburn conf:
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
#MythBurn config settingsmyfolder=/usr/share/mythburnmythtvlocation=/mnt/video/mythtvfonts=/usr/share/mythtvdvddir=/usr/share/mythburn/temp/DVDtcrequant=/usr/bin/tcrequanttempdir=/usr/share/mythburn/tempwebuser=apache

# default settings without interactive configuration# just change these manually in this filetitlesperpage=4smallfont=FreeSans.ttfmaxanimframesu0#flip_thumbnails=" -z"#blueface=" -k"
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Using the gui (I use Gnome) on my fedora box , I ran projectx from a terminal, found the menu item for saving settings and closed the application. Then I moved this file to the temp folder.
cp /home/mythtv/X.ini /usr/share/mythburn/temp/
I've confirmed the location of each of the folders, and user permissions. I've chown'd the entire /user/share/mythtvburn/ folder as 'apache.apache' for permissions sake.
[root at 192 ~]# ls -l /usr/share/mythburn/temp/total 12drwxrwxr-x 2 apache apache 4096 May 9 12:30 1_1drwxrwxrwx 2 apache apache 4096 May 6 00:09 DVD-rwxrwxrwx 1 apache apache 316 May 9 09:21 X.ini
I have 19Gb space on the hard disc.
On the Mythburn page, the only options I have selected are 'PAL' format, 'make ISO image', and 'show debug information'.
The command given by the debug is:
"nice /usr/share/mythburn/mythtvburn.sh 'pal' 'plasma-green-yellow.png' 'funky2.mp2' 'yes' 'no' 'no' 'barbwire.png' 'yes' 'no' 'no' '1504_20060505154600.mpg ' 'nocut' '1503_20060505154400.mpg ' 'nocut' '1502_20060505154200.mpg ' 'nocut' '1501_20060505154000.mpg ' 'nocut' > /usr/share/mythburn/temp/mythburn.log 2>&1 &"
If you run the command at a command line from anywhere except the /usr/share/mythburn/temp/ folder, you'll see a log file like this:
Audio 1 (mp2): 3177 Frames 00:01:16.248 0/0/0/7 './1503_20060505154400[1].mp2'=> 35,441,594 bytes written...-> we have 5 warnings/errors.done... 1 collection(s) processed @ 00:00:06.407

The video file is a BBC2 recording of one minute. So if I then go to /usr/share/mythburn/temp and try the mplex command:
[mythtv at 192 mythburn]$ mplex -o /usr/share/mythburn/temp/1503_20060505154400.mpg -f 8 1503_20060505154400.m2v ./1503_20060505154400.mp2

It's because I used a video clip shorter then it requires a frame to use as an image. I changed sample recordings to a three minute clip and the process worked fine for me from Mythweb.
I think the first place that you could go wrong is when using the ./install.sh script - it asks you what user you are using to run mythfrontend, but what it wants to know is your webuser. As soon as I changed my config file from 'mythtv' to 'apache' I could get the mythburn to work - at a cost of log files no longer appearing on the mythburn web page (I must have mucked that up somehow).
One last thing, I cannot get mythburn to produce a DVD with animated menu's. If I select the tick box, I get an error in my mythburn.log file that looks like this:
finished createintro.sh******************************************************----- datestamp -05-2006 15:40cat: /usr/share/mythburn/temp/tempdvdauthor2.xml_1menu: No such file or directorycat: /usr/share/mythburn/temp/tempdvdauthor2.xml_2menu: No such file or directoryEncoding menu images to MPEG2 files----- datestamp -05-2006 15:40Creating animated background menu...There are 2 image folders for the animated menu on page 1
And I cannot find the 'tempdvdauthor2.xml_1menu' anywhere on my filesystem!
