I'd consider it quite good. My thinking is a cheap(relatively), HD
capable, *small* frontend. With everything on board for no fuss. My
only complaint was the lack of digital audio output, which both boards
solve with a breakout card (still I'd rather give up a couple USB
ports, but better than nothing). With all the required's onboard, one
would not have to use the PCI slots so having the digital audio
outputs on a breakout slot is fine. So for ~<$500 you could have one
of these two boards, an Athlon64 3200+, 512MB of RAM, a 40GB hdd and a
nice miniATX hometheatre case ala Silverstone or whomever your
prefered case vendor is. Which puts you into "Mac Mini territory".
