[mythtv-users] mythfrontend problems ( X processor utilization 100% )

I've had this problem once before. It turned out to be corruption in the 
database tables. Ran a MYSQL repair of all the tables and she came back 
without a hitch.

Could also be a buffer volume problem (not enough space to initialize a 
file? filesystem corruption?). YMMV.
