The wiki page also states that it uses mythtranscode to cut out commercials.
I guess this is the new lossless MPEG2->MPEG2 conversion. I have heard
rumors that this also fixes the sync, but I have not yet tested it.
But what about transcoded MPEG4s ? They would probably still have A/V sync
problems. The only solution I have found for exporting such files to DVD is
to first export it with nuvexport to DIVX which apparently also solves the
A/V sync problem.
