I have the following set up for modules:
alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-81-0 ivtv
alias char-major-81-1 ivtv
You'll want to make sure that your kernel messages actually report the
card being loaded as video1 when the ivtv driver loads... Can you
post the output of dmesg?
