Seems convoluted to me, I had to draw a diagram to visualize what I 
*think* you're attempting. Why not create the subdirectory on P1 and 
mount the top level export from P1 on both F1 and P2, to save traffic 
from P2 suffering "double-redirection"?

Apart from the "missing" subdirectory within P1's exported directory, do 
P1 and F1 mutually agree on file contents? Similarly for F1 and P3 
regarding the subdirectory contents?
