[mythtv-users] Keyboard is disabled in fullscreen xmame

I have installed xmame on a FC5 box with mythtv 0.19.

The command used to start xmame is (from the wiki)  "xmame -vidmod 1
-fullscreen %s".

Once xmame starts I am presented with the normal "type OK or move the
joystick.." message, but my my keys do not register.

The keyboard focus appears to still be on the mythtv screens.

How do I move the focus over to xmame in videomode 1 (or 2) fullscreen ?
