[mythtv-users] Problem with dual tuners and 0.19-fixes

Hi,

I am seeing the same issue here.

MBE has a PVR250 (tuner 1) HD3000 (tuner 2) i386 FC4
mythtv-backend-0.19-125.rhfc4.at mythtv-frontend-0.19-125.rhfc4.at

SBE has a PVR-150 (tuner 3) YAUN PVR-550 (tuner 4) x86_64 FC5
mythtv-backend-0.19-127.rhfc5.at mythtv-frontend-0.19-127.rhfc5.at

Front end only on a laptop FC4

One the MBE or the laptop I can switch between all four tuners no problems.

But on the SBE If I try to switch to tuner 4 the front end exits, with the
_glapi_get_dispatch error. I have no problems switching to the other three
tuners on the SBE.

Assertion `api != ((void *)0)' failed.

No issues recording from all four tuners.

The SBE used to be a Athalon MB with nvidia chip set running FC4 but I
upgraded the hardware by buying a HP multimedia PC. The PC came with the
Yaun PVR-550. So I switched to a AMD 4200 x2, FC5 and added the second tuner
all at the same time. So I cant narrow it down to just the FC5 the second
tuner or the x86_64 or a combination of all three.

And as you can see I have real time priority on. On or off that didn't make
any difference.

How did you "not load the sound driver" just rename the kernel modules and
reboot? Or tweak the modprobe.conf? I could retry that experiment.

The sound card is a ATI IXP SB400 using the snd-atiixp modules
