[mythtv-users] NVidia Graphics Drivers (Easy question hopefully)

Ok, now i'm confused:

So I've got an nVidia FX 5700 in my system right now. Running kernel
2.6.16-1.2096_FC5smp. I'm sure i've got something loaded from nVidia (their
binary drivers) but seeing a few messages posted to this list i'm now
completely unsure if I have everything I need or not.

rpm -qa | grep nvidia provides the following:

xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-1.0.8756-1.lvn5
kmod-nvidia-smp-1.0.8756-1.2.6.16_1.2096_FC5

I actually got the nvidia drivers off of livna.org's yum distribution via *yum
install kmod-nvidia-smp. *The question is, I notice from atrpms, there are
several packages, looking at nvidia-graphics8756-kmdl I notice it wants to
install the following:

 nvidia-graphics8756-kmdl-2.6.16-1.2096_FC5 i686 1:
1.0_8756-72.rhfc5.at atrpms 1.6 M
Installing for dependencies:
 kernel i686 2.6.16-1.2096_FC5 updates 13
M
 nvidia-graphics-devices noarch 1.0-4.rhfc5.at atrpms 2.8k

Which LOOKS like a non-SMP Kernel, and an additional nvidia-graphics-devices
RPM (I notice at ATRPMS there's also a "helpers" rpm there as well).

So, for good nVidia support, all the correct drivers and tools and such,
what the heck should I be installing and how do I manage to get it all.

I'm just too used to the old slackware days where everything was tar.gz and
you just built what you needed. Yes, I know I can do that, but that makes
for a maintenance nightmare having to keep up with new releases, packages
are good, but i'd like to make sure i've got all the RIGHT stuff at this
point.

Advice?
