I may have missed something here, but I set it up to record the S-
Video output of my satellite receiver thusly:

Create a video source for Dish Network with DataDirect

Associate the "S-Video" input of a PVR-150 with that source

Put the name of the channel-changing script into the card setup in
Mythtvsetup.

(Initially I didn't have an IR blaster and had to set the channel
manually. Since Myth expects some sort of changer program that will
return success, I just put "/bin/true" into setup as the channel
changer script, I later changed this to a "real" script).

So am I missing something ? This seemed fairly straightforward.
