Did you perhaps move any recordings around, or have
any recordings in the database that don't have disk
files?

One thing that I noticed is that I accidentally
misconfigured my backend (didn't plug in power to the
recordings drive after moving some wires around), and
Mythweb took a long time to come up (eventually
showing no recordings of course). It tries to read
from every file that is in the database as being
recorded (and the backend logs reflected this).

Check the backend for any messages to this effect when
trying to view the recordings in MythWeb.
