Myth isn't really a "space/enter"-centric system. It's more a "left/ 
right"-centric system, in that where it says "Do Not Record," you  
should be pressing left and right, not space and enter.

A little icon will appear on the program in the EPG to signify if  
it's been set to record, and under what kind of conditions (all  
appearances of the program, by channel, single, etc.)

I use an XBox front-end and I find the EPG impossible to navigate  
with the XBox stock remote, so I just use MythWeb most of the time.  
Check it out. Just punch your MythTV backend's IP address into your  
favorite web browser, and smack enter. Choose MythWeb (though the  
other bits of info can be quite useful!) and give it a whirl.
