What do you mean by "nice graphical"? What about feeding

mythcommflag   -f ${file} --getcutlist

to projectX with "use Frame number for cuts" as cutoption. In that case you can use the GUI from 
mythfrontend and cut it with ProjectX

Works for me like a charm
