[mythtv-users] MythVideo 0.19: DB == Flat List == why?

I'm having the same trouble with this option. I have a large video
collection, which takes a while to load from a remote DB to begin
with, then having to set it to file browser makes it significantly
longer. My collection is spread over 3 drives, which all have to spin
up to browse my collection, adding delay, increasing power
consumption, and increase wear on my drives.
Why was this ablity removed? Was it just considered undesired? Was
it breaking something else?
