MythWelcome  is starting one instance of the mythfrontend for you. When 
it starts up it checks to see if
a recording is about to start. If not it will automatically start the 
frontend since that is what you want
most of the time. If it's not what you want you can turn it of on the 
MythWelcome settings page. (Press I)
