For all users of the uk_rt grabber, I've been maintaining the
channel_ids file since Nov 05 (as it had been left unmaintained for
several months and many new channels were missing and existing data
was incomplete).

I am trying to ensure the file is kept as up to date as possible, with
full XMLTV IDs and names/descriptions for _all_ channels in the file.
The most current version of the file can be obtained here:

It may be worth checking (especially for users wanting to add new
channels) as any update to XMLTV may bring in the newest version of
the channel_ids file which has corrected some of the old channel
information and XMLTV IDs (only the anonymous ones) so _may_ break old
channel setups that have not been running on a version of XMLTV from
the last couple of months.

The output from running the grabber will list channels found on the
BBC site missing from channel_ids (and vice versa). Currently I
believe this totals 3 new channels - Disney Cinemagic and CITV - which
will be added in the next update.
