I'll believe that. I have an X200 on my laptop which shows this
problem when using XV output, but if I switch mplayer to use X11 it
displays fine. I'm sure they could fix it in the driver as Windows
doesn't seem to have the problem. My next laptop will have an NVidia
graphics chip.
